Does code P0441 affect the 300m performance?

You have a problem with your evap purge flow, should be little difference in performance but I recently had to replace an evap vacuum line on my wifes pickup and she says now she has more power than before so there must be some improvement in performance, it may just be that the computer is compensating for fuel vapor being introduced to the system that is not actually there because of the evap malfunction.
