Engine management light has come on your subaru wrx 2003 its done it twice before and gone out itself and it has only come on when you give it abit too much in 1st and 2nd why?

odds are you hit rev limiter and car is giving you a warning, if that was abnormal driving for car you cleaned the carbon out and it took a second for computer to compensate
