Ford Ka's have a timing chain, not belt.
where are the timing marks on a ford ka 1.3 and how do i check the timing is correct
I think the Ford Ka engine is still largely an original Ford Anglia one, with steel cam chain and push rods. Basically, that chain is service-free item; should last forever (disbarring material defects). There is not even chain tensioner to worry over. eero raunio, Finland (a ka owner)
how do I replace timming chain on my nissan np 300 ka 20 motor
Ford Ka was created in 1996.
Assuming the KA is running on an Endura-E (that's a Kent block varient which was the standard 1.3Ltr version in the UK pre 2003) then I believe it's chain drivien. Not sure about the Duratech model that replaced it, but I would imagine it's a chain drive too.
