Take a test light and begin at the starter. Keep working your way back through the circuit until you find power. You'll need a partner to turn the key each time you test a circuit. By the way, do you have a manual trasmission and is there a starter disconnect built into the clutch? There is also a starter lockout on automatic transmission so you cannot start them in gear. Either of these two could be the culprit.

Of course, for them to diagnose the problem, it will cost me $. I asked the dealership for the corporate phone number (1 800 992 1997) to have them document the problem. They did take my complaint. I asked them for another number to contact on this safety issue. They gave me the National Highway and Traffic Safety phone: 800-424-9393; they took my compliant and is sending me info to sign and return.
