Make sure the engine is not locked up by turning the crankshaft by hand. Change the oil and put in 5/30 weight oil. Put fresh gas in the tank, put a splash in the carb and start. If it was running 6 years ago you shouldn't need plugs, although you might change them anyway. I would expect it to run. You may need to prime the carb a few times to get fuel from the tank.
