Unlike OBD, SRS (airbag system) checks its system everytime you turn ignition on.

There is no such thing as "Clear" code except clear "History".

If you try to sale your car and don't want to leave "History" of SRS code came up previously(but now it's fixed), you can clear history (Record) stored in SRS system.

but if your car flash SRS warning light and keep showing now, you must fix problem.

when you turn ignition on after problem fixed, system check itself then won't show warning anymore.

Otherwise, even you only clear with scanner and didn't fix problem, next time you start ignition, warning will show up again.

By the way, it's depend on year and make but Code 33 is passenger side Airbag "system" for older model in Ford/Lincoln, Driver side pretentioner (Seatbelt retract) for newer model Ford/Lincoln.

If your car is newer ford/Lincoln, check bottom of seatbelt (in left center pillar, not buckle on right side of seat).

There is yellow connector. it maybe lose or detached.

Before you do anything for SRS (airbag system), before you touch any "Yellow" connector, You MUST disconnect battery (negative side is good enough), then wait at least 5 min to clear all power stored in system.

otherwise you might blow up airbag and pay large cost to fix it.
