You can purchase a Haynes Manual that is specifically for a <<1970 Impala. Some parts houses and most bookstores sell them. The firing order is 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2. The driver's side (right) is from front to rear, 1,3,5,7 and the passenger's side (left) is 2,4,6,8.
