The evaporator drain is suppose to drain off the condensation (water). If you plug the drain the water will end up inside the cabin on the floor.
Water collects on the interior floor when the air conditioner is used # Air conditioner evaporator drain hose is blocked. Clear the drain hose where it exits the passenger compartment. # Air conditioner evaporator drain hose is disconnected. Secure the drain hose to the evaporator drainage tray under the dashboard.
plugged evaporator drain tube or the heater core has gone bad
there is a leak in the drain pan that the evaporator sits in inside your furnance
The condensation drain tube is plugged with crud.
It will if the condensation drain is plugged.
your drain line for your ac evaporator core is plugged up. A service station can blow this out for you.
Windshield seal? Heater core? Evaporator drain?
If the drain plug under the evaporator coil is plugged up it will cause condensation to leak into the car. If the heater core is bad it will allow coolant to leak into the car. If the leak is warm and smells sweet it is the heater coil.
Check the AC evaporator drain line...is it not connected to the outside
metal epoxy from autozone,or lowes.they even make under water epoxy for metal repair.
you probably have a refrigerant leak in your evaporator. the leak could be so miner the A C still work's You could try stop leak I had same problem on 2005 Chrysler three hundred. drove me nuts until i replaced evaporator
Only the evaporator (indoor) coil collects water from the air called condensate. That is the only water in the system. If you have a water leak, the collection pan or drain has failed. Most systems have a secondary safety pan and drain system also.
