# Drain the cooling system. # Remove or disconnect the following:

Wiper module Brake booster vacuum hose Air cleaner cover and intake tube Throttle and cruise control cables, from the TBI bracket, also Transmission filler tube Hoses from the heater core Right and left instrument panel insulators Center floor air outlet Heater outlet duct Tie strap holding the instrument panel harness to the heater core cover Heater core cover Heater core retaining screw Heater core You need to check if the heater hose are leaking through the clamps before you attempt this plus if you know for a fact that the heater core is leaking then you need to contact GM's Customer Service Department and see if they can do what is called (Good-Will) for you meaning that it will be done for free or you may have to pay only 20 percent.......
