To change the lift gate cylinders, first, ensure the lift gate is fully supported and secure to prevent it from falling. Remove any retaining clips or screws securing the old cylinders, then detach them from the lift gate and the vehicle frame. Install the new cylinders by connecting them to the lift gate and frame, securing them with clips or screws, and then test the lift gate to ensure smooth operation. Always consult the vehicle's manual for specific instructions and safety precautions.
