Charge with leak detector
check radiator for leaks
You need to check the vacuum lines for the a/c system for leaks, breaks and loose ones first.......
check to see if the evaporater is working or if its leaking, then check for leaks on ac lines going threw out ur engine bay
Condensation on AC lines can be prevented or managed effectively by properly insulating the lines to reduce temperature differences, ensuring proper ventilation and airflow around the lines, and maintaining the AC system regularly to prevent any leaks or issues that could lead to excess moisture buildup.
The 1984 Buick uses vacuum lines to change air flow from defroster to ac vents. Check the entire vacuum system for leaks.
v have to check the blower motor,ac pipe lines and cluster assembly
To vacuum the AC lines on a 1997 Audi Quattro, first, connect a vacuum pump to the high and low service ports of the AC system. Make sure the system is off, and then run the vacuum pump for at least 30 minutes to remove moisture and air. Afterward, close the valves on the pump and check for any leaks. Once the vacuum holds steady, you can proceed to recharge the AC system with refrigerant.
To check AC ducts for leaks, you can perform a visual inspection for any visible gaps or holes in the ductwork. You can also use a smoke pencil or infrared camera to detect air leaks. Another method is to pressurize the duct system and use a pressure gauge to measure any drop in pressure, indicating a leak.

If there are no leaks it should last indefinitely. I would recommend calling your local dealer and having them check for recalls. There is a large recall on one of the ac lines under the hood.
To change the AC lines on a 1998 Trans Am, first, ensure the system is fully discharged by a professional to avoid refrigerant exposure. Disconnect the battery, then remove any components obstructing access to the AC lines, such as the air intake or radiator. Use appropriate tools to unbolt and disconnect the old lines, then install the new lines, ensuring all seals are in place. Finally, recharge the AC system with refrigerant and test for leaks.
check for leaks, mostly check toward the rear and lines.
