Remove the filler neck hose from the tank and insert a siphon hose. Be careful if the tank is more than 3/4 full.
A 1995 Dodge Ram 2500 typically has a fuel tank capacity of about 34 gallons. When the fuel gauge indicates empty, there may still be around 1-2 gallons of fuel left in the tank, allowing for an approximate range of 20-40 miles on an empty tank, depending on driving conditions and the engine's efficiency. However, it's not advisable to run a vehicle on an empty tank regularly, as it can damage the fuel system.
