In Wisconsin - On the license face is a class designation like (D,M, ect)next to the word "class". On the backside of the license is an explanation for that class letter that was found on the front. I would think that other states have something very simular.

Is a class 3 license the same as a class c license?

No, a Class 3 license and a Class C license are not the same; they typically refer to different types of vehicle operation. A Class 3 license is often associated with driving larger vehicles, such as trucks or buses, depending on the jurisdiction. In contrast, a Class C license generally allows the operation of standard passenger vehicles. It's important to check the specific regulations in your area, as license classifications can vary by state or country.
