well you can replace the radio but if you get rid of the old radio then your security and car information will become disconnected.. what you need to do is take the factory radio and leave it flugged into power and the information cord (WHATEVER IT MAY BE) and you need to put it under the passenger side seat or put it somwhere hidden in the car. then tap into the power of the wires and plug in both radios.. with the new one, put it in the dash with the speakers hooked up.. and leave the stock radio on, whereveer it will be.. so then you will have a new radio in your car but will still have security...
