Installing an o2 is very easy. Remove the neg. battery cable. Then disconnect the o2 power connector. Feed the wire through the box end of wrench. Finally, unscrew the o2 sensor.

Good Chance this is caused by a faulty O2 Sensor. I had the engine light stuck on in my 2002 Montana and replaced rear O2 sensor and it turned it off.
