Looking at the front of the engine driver's side front to rear 1-3-5. Passenger side front to rear 2-4-6. Firing order 1-6-5-4-3-2 Rotor turns Clockwise. Remove all spark plugs and remove the distributor cap. Turn the engine over until you feel compression on the #1 spark plug hole. You can place your thumb over the hole or a compression gage. When you start to feel compression, stop and place a long screwdriver in the hole and touch the top of cylinder 1. Now slowly turn the engine over by hand until the cylinder reaches TDC. The rotor will now be pointing at the #1 point on the distributor cap.
