Before you re-fill the system with new refrigerant you have to find where the original refrigerant went to i.e. where the leak is,you then have repair the leak and test it with
nitrogen at one and a half times maximum working pressure. you then have to put a vacumm pump onto the system to suck it back out.Failure to do thid is a criminal offence answerable to in Crown court with huge fines and possible imprisonmant.
You can buy kits for re-charging the system at Halfords but it is expensive and if you have not found the leak it will just leak out again. Look up F-gas on your search engine. Good luck.
