It's better to replace axle
Unbolt and remove
Remove the center bolt for the C/V joint... remove rotor and brake caliper, there is 4 bolts that holds it on, remove the bolts and it will come off and install in reverse order. ============================================================== This isn't true for say, a 1989 Acclaim which has the front wheel bearings pressed it, as well as held in by 3 bolts into the spindle. This I know as Ive replaced both my front hub (wheel bearing) assemblies on my 89 Acclaim LX. ~Technologic80

The front axle nut on a 1994 Plymouth Acclaim is 32mm OD. A 32mm axle nut socket should be available at most parts stores.
To install front disk brakes on a 1989 Plymouth Acclaim, start by safely lifting the vehicle and removing the front wheels. Then, remove the caliper by unbolting it and sliding it off the rotor; support it to avoid straining the brake line. Next, remove the old rotor by unscrewing any retaining screws, then replace it with the new rotor, followed by the new brake pads in the caliper. Finally, reassemble the caliper, ensuring everything is tightened correctly, and bleed the brakes before reinstalling the wheels and lowering the vehicle.
