From the manual, it says to loosen to the two screws on the top defrost vent until they are flush with the dash (don't remove), then loosend the two screws at each end of the dash. Then using a special tool lift the dash rearward near the A-piller on both sides. I don't have a speical tool so I'm just going to be creative.
