To replace a GA15DE with an SR20DE engine, first, ensure that you have all necessary tools and parts, including engine mounts, wiring harness, and ECU compatible with the SR20DE. Begin by draining fluids and disconnecting the battery, then remove the GA15DE along with its components such as the transmission and exhaust manifold. Install the SR20DE engine, ensuring proper alignment with the mounts and connections to the transmission. Finally, rewire any necessary connections, install the ECU, and check fluid levels before starting the engine.
Yes, a SR20DE engine can fit into a Nissan 100NX. This can be done properly with some minor modification involved.
1. Nissans that have the SR20DE engines in them are very reliable such as the Nissan primera, Nissan sentra, Nissan pulsar the full list of cars with SR20DE engines can be found here. Parts for this engine are also really cheap, but i doubt you will need to replace any of them i a log time.I personaly have a pulsar with a SR20DE and I havnt had any problems with it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SR20DE#SR20DE2. Nissans GA16DE engine is also very reliable, information about this engine can be found here. Parts for the GA16 are really cheap too. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GA16DE3. Also Toyota corrollas are very reliable car, i know people with them that never had problems.

For G20 engines-SR20DE- Go on E-bay and there are several companies that will ship you an engine with about 50,000 miles for $500 or less. Your labor costs to put it in depends on how much your mechanic charges you to install the engine.
SR20DE -- 139 kg 306 lbs SR20DET - 149 kg 328 lbs

sr20det, sr20de, sr20vet,ca18,rb20,rb25,rb26,vq,ls1,2jzgett, pretty much if you can dream it the 240 can do it.
I know for a fact that a SC14 from a 1G GZE Toyota engine works with an s13 sr20de (non turbo).
From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Sentra, which is not an authoritative source: All trims except the SE have the GA16DE, offering 1.6L, 114 horsepower (85 kW). The GA16DE engine is less powerful than the SR20DE engine, but still offers quite a punch. The SE sedan came with the same 2.0 L SR20DE engine as the SE-R.
The Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor on a 1992 Nissan Pulsar with the SR20DE engine is typically located in the intake manifold or near the air intake duct. It can often be found either in the air flow meter or in the intake piping leading to the throttle body. To locate it precisely, refer to the vehicle's service manual for diagrams and specific details.
If its manufactured between mid 1980's and 1998 it won't. I'm specifically referring to the SR18 and SR20DE engines which are chain driven.
