To replace a driver's side front axle, first, lift the vehicle and secure it on jack stands. Remove the wheel and brake components to access the axle. Disconnect the axle from the wheel hub and the transmission, typically by removing retaining bolts and using a pry bar if necessary. Finally, install the new axle by reversing the disassembly steps, ensuring all connections are secure before lowering the vehicle.
