how do you replace shift indicator light escalade 2003
The cable is part of the shift indicator assy . Must be replaced as a unit
You don't need to replace any bulbs or fuses. The problem lies within the circuitboard, which I am able to refurbish. Contact me a ANCTechnologies at hotmail
To replace the shift indicator bulb on a 1991 Volvo 740 wagon, start by removing the center console cover surrounding the gear shift. Carefully detach the wiring connector from the shift indicator assembly. Then, remove the old bulb from its socket and replace it with a new one. Reassemble everything by reconnecting the wiring and securing the console cover back in place.
Check of change fluid and filter--if this doesn't help it may be time for a rebuild
The indicator panel should by carefully pried out. Then you can change the bulb.
The instrument cluster must be removed to replace the light bulbs on it.
Should be a removable panel under steering column. where adjusting screw is located Place gear shift in neutral to adjust
It sounds like a transmission problem rather than an engine problem.
The dash cluster needs repair. This is not a DIY job. Take it to a dealership.
I have no idea what went wrong. Take it to a trans shop.
pull the top off of the shift indicator..replace bulb.. !!! I believe they are talking about the shift indicator in the instrument panel. An astro van is on the column and the indicator on the newer ones I believe is an LCD, 95 may be like my Tahoe though where there is just a back lit line under a printed legend. If that is the case I would assume it is a bulb but don't know for sure.
