Changing a wheel bearing is almost exactly the same process for every vehicle.

To replace the front wheel bearing on a 1992 Lexus LS 400, first lift the vehicle and remove the front wheel. Next, detach the brake caliper and rotor, then remove the hub assembly from the steering knuckle by taking out the hub nut and any retaining bolts. Press out the old bearing from the hub and press in the new bearing, ensuring proper alignment, before reassembling all components in reverse order. Finally, torque all bolts to the manufacturer's specifications and check for proper wheel rotation.
Wheel bearings on a 1994 to 1997 Lexus GS300 are pressed into the Hub. The install a wheel take the hub to a machinist so they can safely press the wheel bearing into place. This reinstall the hub onto the vehicle.
