there are controls it just seems like they're not there. Take a ballpoint pen or any pointed object and look for two protrusions that are on the bottom left and right sides of the clock that only reach the glass for display. (These look like they are supporting the faceplate and are about 1cm long)You should be able to change the hours by pressing the tip of the one on the left and the minutes by using the one on the right.
To "change" the clock you need to "change" the radio..... To "change" the time, see Setting the Clock on page 3-9 of your "Owner's Manual", under Section 3: Comfort Controls and Audio Systems.....
See the 7.5 fuse in location 15 on the fuse box
The fuse that controls the clock also controls the cigarette lighter. It's fuse 15 and is labeled "CIG" on the diagram. The fuse box is located on the left under the steering wheel, behind the little thingy, for lack of a better term, that pops in and out, the diagram is on the back of the box, you'll see it once you pop the little thing out of place.
Removal is relatively straight forward, it is easier to see with pictures then explain in text. Please check out my bio page for info on how to remove and service the clock. The clock is on interior fuse #18 ACC 15 amps it controls car audio, power antenna, clock, and power rear mirror. If the fuse is OK and the clock is dead then it is an internal clock issue.

We look at a clock and we see the hands on the face of the clock.
That's a nice grandfather clock! I can't see the clock, from here.
It sounds like the Cabriolet has a possible problem with the shifter forks. The transmission will need to be pulled apart to see what the problem is for sure.
A clock
There's is a little knob next to the millage if you hold this twisted to the left . . .the hours will change. . . if you hold this twisted clockwise then the minute will change. Hope this helps.
Then you can see (on the clock) it's time to buy a new radio!
