There's usually a button on/by the shifter or in the glove compartment. If not, check your owner's manual.
2 fuse boxes....one on left in trunk ....other in engine comparment on driver side over fender area ....two fuses one in front ...one in rear for traction control module
say for example-- if one will spins the others kick in and provide the control of vehicle. this is what a traction control does.
Traction control will prevent one wheel from spinning by constantly transferring traction to the wheels with the most grip.
Are you wanting to know how to turn the traction control on and off? Press the VEHICLE SETTINGS button on the multi display unit, the first one that comes up is the TRACTION CONTROL. Then press the RESET button and the TRACTION CONTROL will be disabled. Repeat this process to turn it back on or cycle the ignition key and it will automatically be turned back on. When you disable the T/C there will be a green warning light that remains on saying T/C OFF.
My question to you is why? ABS works and is a great safety feature. If you REALLY want to.. unplug one of the wheel speed sensors. This will also disable your electronic traction control. Can't have one without the other.
Traction Control Not Functioning. When computer senses one wheel losing traction, traction control applies the brake to that wheel to stop it from spinning
Mine does but i think it is electronic controlled for one starts to spin the other wheel will start working for more traction. i done a burnout that's how i figured
Depends on what is wrong with it. My traction control did not work as long as there was a problem with one of the ABS wheel sensors - the two functions are tightly integrated.
If the vehicle has traction control, all the tires must be the same size. If one tire is smaller than the rest, yes the traction control light would come on.
som one tell me the answer please
This is the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) also called Traction Control. The light will come on briefly when one or more of the tires on your vehicle loose traction. It will also come on and stay on if you turn the traction control off. If the traction control is on and the light stays lit all the time, then there is a problem with the system.
