It depends on the amount of stops that you will make. You can figure the actual driving time and then add whatever time you think you will need for gas and food stops. If you drive at 60 miles per hour without any slow downs, lights, stops, traffic congestion, etc. it will take you 12.03 hours. This is a constant speed. Even one traffic light stop can add 5 minutes to your trip due to slow down, stop, and speed up time. Allow time for breakdowns such as a flat tire. We don't want to think about that but it does happen. I usually figure on a constant speed of 50 miles per hour. This allows for traffic and other slow downs. At 50 miles per hour it will take you 14.44 hours or about 14 and a half hours. Add time for a gas/pit stop. (gotta get rid of that big coffee you drank) And grab something fast to eat. I'd say around 15 to 16 hours. I've done it but remember to take breaks to stretch.

Driving time will depend on the speed limit, how fast you plan on driving, delays in going through cities or towns, rest stops, and gasoline stops. You can calculate the time by dividing the mileage by your average speed. Personally, I allow myself 1 hour for every 50 miles of travel, Based on that, I would figure 14 to 15 hours for the trip.
