  1. Take I-75 NORTH from Tampa all the way up to I-74 WEST via I-275 WEST around Cincinnati (EXIT 185 off I-75 in northern Kentucky to get onto I-275 WEST; EXIT 25 off I-275 in OHIO to get onto I-74 WEST to INDIANAPOLIS). To bypass Macon, take I-475 NORTH (EXIT 156 in GEORGIA). To bypass Atlanta, take I-285 WEST BYPASS (EXIT 238B off I-75 in GEORGIA to get onto I-285 WEST BYPASS; EXIT 20 off I-285 to get back onto I-75, follow signs to I-75 NORTH to CHATTANOOGA).
  2. Take I-74 WEST to I-65 NORTH to CHICAGO via I-465 NORTH (and WEST) and I-865 WEST (EXIT 25 off I-465) to bypass Indianapolis.
  3. Take I-65 NORTH to I-90 TOLL ROAD to Illinois and OHIO at EXIT 262 at where I-65 ENDS in Chicagoland in Indiana.
  4. Take I-90 WEST along the TOLL ROAD in Indiana, and then along the Chicago SKYWAY in ILLINOIS to I-94 WEST in Chicago.
  5. Continue on I-94 WEST to IL-137 - BUCKLEY RD off I-94 - (Tri-State) TOLLWAY north of the city of Chicago proper.
  6. Turn right off the exit ramp onto IL-137 EAST. Take IL-137 EAST to the Great Lakes Naval Training Center.
