As much as it uses? It all really depends on the workload it has within those twelve hours... one that makes longer trips and has to be driven more will use more fuel than one which makes shorter trips, because it burns more fuel to move that vehicle than to have it on high idle to turn the drum. Then, if it's just sitting during those 12 hours, it's not using any fuel at all.
a vision mixer will earn a wealthy £10 an hour. cheers bud

On an average load on a 15 kc DG is about 4 littered of diesel per hour.

really dumb . .hope smone 'inteligent' replies 2 it :-)
That depends upon the mixer and the speed. For example, a 600 watt mixer run at full speed for one hour will consume 0.6 kW-hours in one hour. It would consume 0.1 kW-hours in 10 minutes. A 300 watt mixer run at full speed would use half that much, or 0.05 kW-hours in 10 minutes. Running the 300 watt mixer at half power would cut the power consumption in half again, to 0.025 kW-hours per 10 minutes.

cooking spray. it will keep the mixer relatively clean you just need to clean the mixer well to begin. I would clean the mixer with muriatic acid and water at a 8:1 water:acid mix and remove as much grease and dirt and old concrete as possible. Then at the start of each day spray the mixer and when you take a lunch clean your mixer. Painters clean their paint brushes throughout the day, masons clean their trowles throughout the day so you should expect to clean your mixer lightly throughout the day and a good cleanup at the end of the day.

Starting techs usually around $13-$15 and hour. More certifications should get you more money.
