The weight of 87 octane gasoline is approximately 6 to 6.5 pounds per gallon, depending on temperature and specific formulation. Gasoline's density can vary slightly, but this range is a good general estimate for its weight. Therefore, a standard gallon of 87 octane gas typically weighs around 6.1 pounds.

The gas octane that would be the best in a Honda CR-V from 2009 is 87 octane. Higher octane gas will improve its performance, but it is only necessary to have 87.

To create 10 gallons of 93-octane gas by mixing 87-octane and 95-octane fuels, you can use the formula for weighted averages. Let ( x ) be the gallons of 87-octane and ( y ) be the gallons of 95-octane. You need ( x + y = 10 ) and ( \frac{87x + 95y}{10} = 93 ). Solving these equations gives you ( x = 5 ) gallons of 87-octane and ( y = 5 ) gallons of 95-octane.

i found with mine, that if you used 91 octane you get worse gas mileage than with 87, you also have to remember the KZ models are old and when they were running the streets the most common gas was 87 octane 91 was pretty much race fuel. so if you want better mileage i would probably go with 87.
