For a 1972 Chevy truck with a 350 engine, the ideal fuel pressure is typically between 5 to 7 psi. Pressures exceeding 7 psi can lead to flooding, poor engine performance, and potential damage to the fuel system. It's important to use a fuel pressure regulator to maintain proper pressure within this range for optimal engine operation. Always consult the manufacturer’s specifications for the most accurate information.
