Well in Colorado, its a 500 dollar fine, they also might impound your car. On top of that, they make you get sr-22 insurance. So its going to be very expensive. These days its cheaper to have insurance, because if you get caught with out, it ends up being more expensive after court fines, impound lot fess, and your sr-22 insurance fees.
