That depends on what the specific malfunction is. It could be as simple as a blown fuse, or it could be as complex as an ECM issue.
not alot
Hi, I have a 1999 Fiat Punto and the airbag warning light was on for years but I never tried to have it fixed as someone told me it would cost a fortune! However I just failed the NCT test because of it so I was forced to have it repaired. I brought it to a guy who is a whiz with car electronics but he had to admit defeat and said I would have to bring it to a main dealer. I did, and they connected it to their diagnostic machine and within ten minutes had it fixed at a cost of 34 Euro. They said it had something to do with disconnecting the battery at one stage and all that was required was a reset.
I have a 1999 Dodge Caravan: Just fixed June 12th,The Airbag light was staying on,the the horn went as well as the cruise control, It is called the CLUTHCH CLOCK that was replace on mine: It is located in your steering Wheel,Not a do it yourself job, It is where you airbag is, cost $129.99 for the part in Canada about an hours work if you know what your doing.
Depending on the situation. At best it would be a fluctuating fixed cost.
like 1800
$325 on a 2005 suburban at my mechanics garage.
If you have a fixed charge of -15, the total cost would be 15 units less than the original cost.
I would suggest that a possible fixed cost would be the salary of the owner.
Good quality denturesupper and lower for a person on fixed income what would the cost be.
First make sure there is a good fuse for the airbag light in the fuse box. If there is not a good fuse for the airbag light in the fuse box, then the airbag warning light will show on the dashboard. If that is not your problem, you can have a mechanic read the code which will cost you at least $50, and will give an indication what the problem is. If that is not your problem, you can have the mechanic look at your air bag inflator and they can tell you if there is something wrong with the system.
Contrast to what we would normally think, changes in fixed costs do not affect marginal cost. For example, if a product costs $10 to produce, and the fixed cost goes up to $25, then marginal cost stays the same.
Fixed are the cost that are not affected the by the fluctuations in the level of activity. As an example the rent cost of a apperal manufacturing company would be a typical example of a fixed cost in short run as rental is not affected by the level of activity that is produced.
