The engine number for the Isuzu 4HF1 is typically located on the engine block, often found on the side or front of the engine. You may need to clean the area to make the number more visible, as it can be obscured by dirt or grease. It's usually stamped into the metal, making it a permanent identifier for the engine. If you're having trouble locating it, refer to the vehicle's service manual for more specific guidance.
The whole car was made by Isuzu, including the engine.
Yes, Isuzu did produce a 2.3L engine pickup in 1987. The Isuzu Pickup, also known as the Isuzu D-Series, was available during that time and featured a variety of engine options, including a 2.3L inline-four engine. This model was part of Isuzu's lineup aimed at the compact truck market.

Well, honey, the running mate of a V10 Isuzu engine would be its transmission. The transmission works hand in hand with the engine to deliver power to the wheels and get that baby moving down the road. So, if you want that V10 Isuzu engine to strut its stuff, you better make sure it's got a good transmission by its side.
The only way you'll probably get these is to join the UK Isuzu owners club and ask on the forum, there are people on there who are seasoned Isuzu mechanics and are very helpful! Make sure you say what engine it is though, mines a 2003 and has a choice of being more than one engine (different settings). Mine has a sticker at the front of the slam panel saying its the JX41 engine... make sure you say which one yours is when asking :)
I would contact GM or Isuzu dealership with engine code , make, year, and what ever details you can find.
