Yes . sometimes the other pipe is just there for show. Go under your car and make sure everything looks ok.
On the right side of the block under the exhaust pipes...
Catalytic converters are part of the exhaust system under the vehicle. They are right after the exhaust pipes come down from the engine
most likely neutral switch but check bulb first neutral switch is located right front under lower frame tube behind exhaust pipes
Lower right side, right below crankcase. It's easily visible next to the exhaust pipes.
Right by the shift module on the transmission. Right behind where the Exhaust pipes join up when the come out of the engine.
I'd be checking the oxygen sensors
it is on the passenger side right behind where the exhaust pipes meet to form the y pipe
Yes
it depends on what kind of civic you have (coupe, hatchback, or sedan). you would have to modify the lengths of the pipes to get it to fit right though. I'm about to take the exhaust off my old 99 sedan and put it on my 94 coupe and just measuring it I saw a major difference in the length of the pipes.
no such thing ,you need to reword your question, exhaust manifold is bolted on the right side of engine and intake manifold on left side, under carburator.
It's going to be on the exhaust system somewhere. My 97 has it right in front of the motor next to the radiator coming out of the exhaust manifold. Looks like a spark plug looking thing with a single wire coming out of it.
It is mounted in the exhaust system. Start at the exhaust manifold and work backward toward the catalytic converter. It is more than likely mounted in the exhaust manifold right at the engine. It may also be mounted where the two exhaust pipes come together.
