this is the second motor in this car with the same radiator/hoses and still no heat. can the heater core be a problem or maybe the radiator hoses?
the car does not over heat.or can it be the part bolted onto the fire wall where the hose goes into?

The heater in the CRV Honda is not working . How do I fix this
There are a couple of reasons why a Honda Civic heater fan is not working. The fan motor may of blown or a fuse needs to be replaced.
Can be a leaking heater core if the fluid taste sweet. Can also be the drain tube for the windshield cowl is stopped up.
watch your coolant level because antifreeze is probably leaking in your heater core, another indication of leaking heater core is greasy film on inside of your windshield and it makes it hard to defrost.
Yes it is - only when idling and if I turn the heater on it cools down - thermostat?
There is no heater blower is a Honda. The heat created on the air condition system is heated up through a heater core. If there is no heat coming out then the heater core will be the culprit.
.
If it is just water and not coolant, then suspect a leaking windshield, or possibly a A/C condenser drain line stopped up. If it is coolant, then the heater core is leaking and needs replacing.
could be thermostat or heater fan if you can hear all the speeds on the blower motor working then it could be your thermostat but your heater core might be plugged as well
A "heater" or a "heater core"?
two things to check, is the system charged and is the heater mix door working properly
