legally? maybe yes, maybe no...did you sign anything regarding the disposition of the deposit? ...sales agreement? If you used a credit card for the deposit, you could likely contest it if you had a good reason..ie. dealer dishonest, etc. Personally, I think if you just changed your mind you should not get it back..after all that's the reason for a deposit..to hold the car for you..potentially you may have kept the dealer from selling the car to someone else...just my opinion.
if someone puts a deposit on a car after a 2 weeks period they change there mind do have to give them there deposit back
Normally if you are putting a deposit down on a holiday, house, CAR, etc. and you pull out of the sale you will loose the deposit. Hope this helps
that person who you deposited the money has to pay you double the amount you deposited
Legally, they are allowed to keep your deposit although if they are nice enough they will hand it back. That is one of the reasons why a deposit is made, usually they will not give back a deposit as the buyer is putting the seller out of pocket. thanks.

There is nothing to stop you from changing your mind. The question is whether the company will return your deposit. Usually, a company will want to keep its customers happy, and will work with them in good faith. Still, it does not mean they are obligated to return the deposit. Just act appropriately, explain your situation, and hopefully they will have no problem returning your money.
If they can show it was not habitable or not ready when agreed on, you would have to return the deposit. If they merely change their mind, you would probably not have to return the deposit. Please contact an attorney (in USA check your phone book for "Legal Aid" as they offer free or low-cost legal advice.)
No, once you bought it, it's yours. If you change your mind after you delete it, you can download it again free.
No. You can keep the security deposit because you could not seek another renter while you were holding it for her.
In Texas, you can only get your deposit back if your application is rejected and/or you have 3 days from the date of application to chane your mind. After that, you are not eligible to et your "application deposit" back.
