Not possible to report them stolen unless they go jacked off in a car lot
I would not benefit the person if It was stolen in the first place.
Yes, you can report your car stolen if your girlfriend took it without your permission, as it would be considered unauthorized use of your vehicle.
Why would they report it stolen?? IF it was stolen from you, then YOU would report it stolen. The lender loaned MONEY so they will recover money(garnishment, leins, ect.) if the collateral disappears. They will eventually find where you are working and you will pay for not only the car but court fees. Do yourself a favor and give the car up it's not yours.
The only way that can be a bad thing is if the car is stolen. You would have had to report it stolen prior to the ticket or accident.
Assuming the stolen car was insured, the stolen cars insurance would be responsible. If the stolen car was not insured, the driver, if located would be responsible. If not located then the owner would probably be held responsible. Hopefully the struck vehicle is insured for "uninsured motorist" coverage. Filing the report after the accident would document the theft, but not neccesarily clear the owner of responsibility.
NOT unless it was stolen. Stolen cars are reported stolen. Cars securing a loan in DEFAULT are reported as DELINQUENT to the credit bureau. If you choose to report the car stolen, go ahead. I would not reccommend it though. Filing a false police report is illegal in most jurisdictions.
If you got a call and your car was in anoter state then if you wanted it back then you would have to go to that state and get it back usually at an impound lot.
i would report it stolen. if the payments are made the loan company can and probably will come after you for the money. If you report it stolen to the cops you can at least report it to the insurance company and the loan company and that should remove your responsibility.
it wouldn't be reported as a "stolen" vehicle unless they signed an agreement stating when they would return it. At most, it would be unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Best thing to do would be to send a certified, return receipt, restricted delivery letter to the person stating they have so many days to return it or it will be considered stolen. Also put in the letter that acceptance of the letter constitutes their agreement. Yes you can report your car stolen but only if you said return it by a certain time. If you failed to give a time period, then you cannot report it as stolen.
You may not be able to track a lost or stolen phone but you can have it blocked. Simply call your service provider, report is as stolen and have them block the phone. This would render the phone useless unless it will be reported back to the service provider by the original owner of the phone that it's been found or returned.
It is you duty to report it as soon as you discover the theft. If for any reason you can not do this, then you should do so as soon as you reasonably can. Failure to report the theft immediately may be taken into account by the insurance company considering any claim you may make for the stolen vehicle.
If any of us knew that, we would report it to Authority. (It has not been recovered).
