LOCATION OF OBD2 PORT?
This is not a question, be more specific, what do you want to know about the location of the 2006 Honda elemnet obd2 port?
all cars manufactured in the us after 1996 use obd2
The OBD2 connector is located underneath the ash tray.
can anyone tell me where to find the OBD2 plug in on a 1999 cougar?
With an OBD2 scanner.
since 1995 to present, you have to retrieve codes by use of a obd2 scanner.
I know that the 2001 model is OBD2 Compatible. Check out this site: www.carplugs.com/obd2ford.html
It's located under the driver's side instrument panel
they use the standard OBD2 system, just need code reader to read them, don't try the grounded pin method, works good on fords, chevys, mitsubishi's, BUT not on KIA'S! you not might BUT will blow computer.
OBD2 connections are usually located underneath the steering column. This could vary from car to car, but it's a good starting location.
