Had the same problem with mine. Jiggled the headlight switch and now they work. I suspect the headlight switch is going.
The Switch may be bad. Check the bulbs for the parking lights. Check the fuses / relays for the parking lights.
If all other lights work then make sure that the parking light bulbs are good. Check for a parking light fuse and relay, to insure that the work properly.
On a 2001 Mazda B4000 with a 4.0L engine, the camshaft position sensor is located on the front of the engine, near the timing cover. It is typically positioned near the camshaft or the distributor, depending on the specific engine configuration. To access it, you may need to remove some components, such as the air intake or other nearby parts for better visibility.
Proper Use of "Parking Lights"The answer depends on the "Traffic Code" for the State in which you are driving. However, they are called parking lights because they are supposed to be used to warn other vehicle drivers of the location, position, and "state" [parked] of your vehicle. Most jurisdictions prohibit driving with parking lights only. The only exception that might convince a Police Officer to not give you a ticket would be in the case of the loss of headlights out in the boondocks on a very dark night in which you drove only with parking lights to get to a safe place.
To remove the transmission from a Mazda B4000 4x4, first ensure the vehicle is securely lifted and supported. Disconnect the battery, then drain the transmission fluid and remove the drive shafts. Next, unbolt the transmission from the engine and detach any electrical connectors, shift linkage, and any other components that may obstruct the removal. Finally, carefully slide the transmission out from under the vehicle, ensuring to support its weight appropriately.
Turning Parking Lights ON while Charging BatteryNO, it serves no purpose other than to reduce the life of the parking light bulb filaments, and to cause the battery to have to be charged longer.
Subaru uses a red parking light button on top of the steering wheel column - it acts as an on-off toggle so the driver can activate the parking lights (instead of hazards) to allow other drivers to see the car in the dark.
If you own the vehicle and want the anti-theft system disabled, take the car to the dealer or other reputable shop. They might disable it for you or tell you how yoi can disable it.
If your car has daytime running lights (standard in Canada) then the only way to turn on just the parking lights is when the car is in park or neutral, the light switch is in the park light position and the parking brake is on. Then the headlights will turn off. Any other configuration means the headlights will be on. On this car, parking lights can truly only be used when parked!
i had the same problem and i replaced the sensor/switch on the brake pedal itself and got mine to work.
Taillights are red lights at the rear of a vehicle that indicate its presence and signal braking. Emergency flashers, also known as hazard lights, cause all turn signal lights to blink simultaneously, alerting other drivers of a potential hazard or that the vehicle is stationary. Parking lights are used to make a parked vehicle more visible to other drivers, typically activated when the vehicle is stationary and not in use. Together, these lights enhance safety on the road by improving visibility in various situations.
You should use your parking lights when your vehicle is parked on the side of the road in low visibility conditions, such as during fog, heavy rain, or snow, to make your car more visible to other drivers. However, parking lights are not intended for use while driving, as they do not provide adequate illumination for safe driving. Always use your headlights when you are on the road, especially at night or in poor weather conditions.
