Yep can happen as the pump isnt working then. Put on a new belt. Check level of coolant in radiator etc
Under the hood should be a manufacturer sticker which shows the belt lay out. If in doubt, take pictures of the belt while still on the car, then replace as shown in your own diagrams!
This can vary depending on if seat belt use is required by law but rule of thumb is: If the car came equipped with the shoulder belt it must be used.
Two thoughts come to mind; 1- it could be the serpetine belt (not common but possible) 2- You could have bad bearings in the motor. I would see an expert asap! on this one.
The belts are located on the passanger side of the car. The way the belts keep tension are by bolts. It's a squeeze to get your hand down in there, and I think I used a ratchet with an extension. Although the belt may not loosen right away after you lossen it up, this is how to loosen them. You might ave to push on the belt and the tension location. FYI the serpetine belt is on the inside, so to replace it you have to take BOTH belts off to replace the one. I know, it sucks. ETA for serpetine replacement is prob 25-45 minutes give or take if its rusted or not.
Answerit could be because the belt is a cheap after market brand that some times makes the belts a little smaller or bigger then OE parts (orginal equitment) put a little oil on it when it is running if the sound goes away then take the belt back if the sound doesn't go away then it isn't coming from the beltyou need a new belt tensioner i have a car like that
There's usually a belt diagram under the hood. If not, try asking your local auto parts store or car dealer. I suppose you could always buy a motor manual with on in it.
None came with seatbelts in the back, And only if the car had belt anchors, would they be in the front.
The federal law says that whatever came originally is what is required. Some old cars had only one taillight and that is sufficient.
It is built into the cluster and can not be removed. You don't have to remove it. Get on the net and type in "seat belt alarm stop". This is a product you can use on most any car. It clips into the seatbuckle and stops the alarm instantly. Lou B
A seat belt protects the passengers when you have a car accident.
Your serpentine belt is broke
The law of inertia, simply put, in terms of seat belt safety means that on impact, the car that was going 55mph stops almost instantly, while the contents of the car, for example, the passenger continues at 55mph. Therefore, without restraints, the passengers slam into the dash at 55mph causing serious bodily harm.
