Temperature range is what you are looking for.

the normal range is around 200 to 250 degrees F.

Proper coolant level and mixture play a big part in this. Also check the thermostat, when it starts to go you can run really hot!!! These are cheap and in most cases you can do it yourself, MAKE SURE THE ENGINE IS OFF AND COOL, WAIT 2-3 HOURS BEFORE WORKING ON ANY ENGINE. ALWAYS DISCONNECT YOUR BATTERY, SOME FANS RUN OFF AN ELECTRIC MOTOR AND COULD STAR.

How do you change coolant on 2003 gmc Yukon?

To change the coolant on a 2003 GMC Yukon, start by ensuring the engine is cool, then locate the radiator drain plug at the bottom of the radiator and open it to drain the old coolant into a suitable container. After draining, close the drain plug and remove the radiator cap.
