Normally the temperature is about 10 degrees hotter than your themastat opening temp. If you dont have a themastat, and depending on driving conditions, it will be somewhere between 180 and 230 degrees, because water boiles at 232 under 14lbs pressure ( radiatior cap pressure). So it can't get much hotter that that without boiling over and over heating.
