Bank 1 is the side of the engine that includes cylinder number 1, bank 2 would be the other side. Sensor one is before the cataylitc converter, sensor 2 would be after. BUT... IF one sensor has failed, you may as well replace the other at the same time. It will be going soon.
Bank 1 is the bank of cylinders that contain the number 1 cylinder. O2 sensor 1 is the first O2 sensor in the exhaust system between the engine and the catalytic converter.
The O2 sensor bank 1 location on a Mitsubishi Endeavor is next to the top hose of the radiator on the motor. The sensor is slightly below where the top radiator hose connects to the radiator and on the top of the motor.
All O2 sensors are threaded into the exhaust system at various points. Bank 1 Sensor 1 would be the first O2 sensor located in the exhaust system after the bank of cylinders that contain the #1 cylinder.
bank 1 = passenger side bank 2 = driver side sensor 1 = pre-cat sensor 2 = post-cat
Itis on the driver's side before the catalytic convertor.
That would be the O2 sensor located after the catalytic converter.
The bank 1, sensor 3, O2 sensor would be the O2 sensor post cat.
You have 2 O2 sensors on that vehicle. They are both threaded into the exhaust system, one before the catalytic converter and one after the catalytic converter. Bank 1 sensor 1 is the O2 sensor before the catalytic converter.
usually bank 1 is the bank with # 1 cylinder in it and sensor # 1 is the front o2 sensor(usually in the manifold). You will need a O2 sensor socket or a 22mm wrench or deep socket.
1/1 is the o2 sensor on the engine size of the catalytic converter.
You did not specify which O2 sensor it is. Is it sensor 1 bank 1, sensor 2 bank 2, sensor 2 bank 1, or sensor 1 bank 2. There are four O2 sensors on a mazda 626
I believe it is before the catallytic converter.
