If you mean the temperature control switch its located next to the thermostat housing on the top left side of the engine block. Can't miss it as it looks like a big nut with 2 wires attached to it.
To check if the fans working hook it upto a 12V source.. if it turns its ok.. if not swap the temp control switch and run the engine, fan works when correct temp is reached.. if not your gonna have to replace the fan which is held onto the radiator by 2 clips top an bottom..
