The capacitor needs to be replaced. This was going on with mine but it was under a home warranty at the time. The tech showed up, unscrewed the wires from the capacitor, screwed the wires to a new one and put the shell back together. It took about 8 minutes. I'll be able to do it next time. Make sure the power to the unit is off at the mains.
