if it is more of a slapping rattle like metal to metal for every revolution of the motor check your crank pulley... my Zuk was making a similar noise... ended up being the 4 bolts holding the pulley on and sheared them right out of my crank sprocket... it sounds rediculous but trust me its worth checkin out
rattle noise from passenger side ,loss of power sometimes even backfire take belt off alternator and accessories take hold of crankshaft pulley ( biggest) pulley on bottom of the motor turn back and forth if loose you will hear a noise tick tick

check for loose or worn shock absorbers
if you hear a rattle during starting then its a dephaser pulley which will require removal of the cam belt (expensive)
If it increases with engine speed, check all of the valve springs and make sure one or more is not broken if not the problem, risk pins or rod bearings are most likely the problem.
