The 2005 Chrysler 300C uses a 50/50 mixture of ethylene glycol-based coolant and distilled water. It's important to use a coolant that meets the specifications of MS-9769, which is Chrysler's standard for engine coolant. Always check the owner's manual for specific recommendations and maintenance guidelines.
Bubbling coolant usually indicates a head gasket problem...
Owner's manual says every five years and then every two years after the initial change. Manual also recommends HOAT coolant, such as Valvoline G-05 or Mopar HOAT coolant(sold at Chrysler dealers). DO NOT used Dexcool. It is really bad on Chrysler internal parts. Chrysler also recommends not using the traditional green coolant. Many coolant manufacturers (Prestone and Peek)now have 'universal' coolant, which is supposed to be compatible with all makes, but the choice is up to you. Hope this helps.
