The D16 ignition timing needs to be set to the middle of the three marks. Typically, these marks are red and are located before the TDC mark on the crank.
You cant "reset" the timing on these. It has computer controlled ignition timing. If there is a timing problem check the crank sensor.
cam timing will not change ignition timing i would try 8 or 10 degees advance at idle with the vacuum advance disconnected.
