A dealer cannot just "take your car back" which is quite simply, "REPOSSESSING THE VEHICLE" for no reason. There would have to be some kind of violation of the terms of sale/payment for them to repossess it, & they would still have to file some kind of legal action or go to a COURT and obtain approval and paperwork authorizing them to repossess the vehicle.
If this had been the case, you would have been served notice that you had to appear in court to admit/dispute the dealer's claim, and would have been given the opportunity at that time to work out an agreement with the dealer over the dispute, & the court would have sanctioned either the agreement between you & the dealer, or ruled in favor of you or the dealer. Any way that the court ruled would have been entered as a court ordered judgment and entered in the court records and both parties to that action would have been given a written copy of the ruling.
If none of this occurred, and the dealer cannot show written proof that he obtained the legal right to repossess your car, quite simply, the dealer has STOLEN your car. If that is the case, call your local Police Department and file a stolen car report, and give them all the information as to where the vehicle was taken from and if you have spoken to the dealer and know for a fact that they have the car (as in they admitted to you that they took the car) and the car's location.
Im having car problems I just have days that I took it out from the dealership can I take it back and take another car out?
It wouldn't be the dealer who took the vehicle back - the state has the authority to take possession of it if the taxes aren't paid, and that actually supersedes any claim anyone else - including a lienholder - has on it.
The only problem we have ever had was after we took our car to a Lexus dealer for work and our car came back worse everytime.
I have a feeling they took it away for a reason, so the best thing you can do is to correct the reason why they took it. Make a contract with them. The three of you sit down and write out the terms for all parties and agree to them. Everyone signs it.
Depends on how much the car has sunk in value between when you took possession of it and when you returned it. Probably the company will want some money more on top of having the car back. It's far better to talk to the bank or the dealer though rather than waiting until it gets repossessed.
the reason was so that they showed they were not violent people and they deserved respect
Not unless you knew about the problem and lied to them. Otherwise they took the car in on trade, "As Is" and can't hold you responsible.
Any lender has the right to sue regardless of the reason if you choose not to pay them back. Leaving a state where you took a payday loan is not a reason for a payday lender to sue you - not paying them back is.
ANSWER: CAN YOU RETURN A CAR.................................. MUCH MORE INFORMATION NEEDED, WHERE THE TRANSACTION TOOK PLACE, COPY OF CONTRACT, LENGTH OF TIME, REASON FOR RETURN POSSIBLE GENERALLY BUT USUALLY VERY DIFFICULT
Apparently I took out a life insurance policy with Prudential which use's my annual payment to cover some sort of loan. I try calling them but no one seems to know what I am talking about. I tried the agent, he told me to call the company, they told me I took a loan back in 1989, however I never received any money, but have noticed the payment is what seems to be bringing this graduated payment down, so now I am really confused, can you help me?
I had the same problem on my 2001 expedition and took it back to the dealer and there is an ampilifer mounted in the side wall near the subwoofer and it was bad, not how to get to it, hope this help.
This is soo funny, I just took my in a few days ago for my 2004 envoy to the dealer, they said my battery did not have enough amps... So they replaced the battery, a few hours later i turned the a/c on & my envoy did the same thing as yours they said that it might have lost the programming in it due to changing of battery (i do not know yet) what it is, just took back today to dealer im sure they'll say it is something else to make more money off me. This is the reason i am surfing the net, I am curious as to if that really exists! 5/29/09 cendejasabc@hotmail.com
