engine light just came on in my g6 2007 code p1174
The diagnostic trouble code P1174 for a 2007 Chevy Cobalt indicates a problem with the fuel trim, specifically related to the bank 1 system being too rich or too lean. This code typically signals that the engine control module (ECM) has detected an issue with the air-fuel mixture, which could be caused by a variety of factors such as a faulty oxygen sensor, vacuum leaks, or fuel delivery problems. Diagnosing the exact cause usually requires checking the fuel system, sensors, and potential exhaust leaks.
code p0201
2006 Pontiac grand prix recurring number 4 cylinder misfire diagnostic code? What could it be?
Trouble code P0336 means: Crankshaft position sensor "A" - range or performance problem
This is what the code sheet says Definition: Fuel trim cylinder balance Explanation: The ECM performs a fuel trim cylinder balance utilizing the heated oxygen sensor, when the calculated accumulated voltage exceeds a predetermined level this code is set Probable cause: 1. failed heated oxygen sensor 2. ignition problem 3. fuel injection problem 4. engine mechanical condition
gas and air flow meter
P1147 is the code thrown when a problem occurs with either an O2 Sensor or its electrical harness.
Are you sure about that code? I'm not seeing it in the ODBII code list. http://autorepair.about.com/od/obdcodedatabase/a/OBD_1996_year.htm
how to diagnostic this code
You can find the paint code inside trunk, under the carpet.
Trouble code P0118 means: Engine Coolant Temperature Circuit High Input Replace the Coolant Temp Sensor
It would probably have to be hooked up to a diagnostic machine. Or you might be able to get a code reader to see if that does it.. but I doubt it if its a 2004, it probably will more than likey require the expensive diagnostic machine that is at mechanic shops.
